Martin Stuchtey is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of SYSTEMIQ. His company focuses on implementing sustainable business models and supporting initiatives that want to solve problems that the linear economy brought up. He is also a professor for Resource Strategy and Management at the University of Innsbruck.
Prior to founding SYSTEMIQ, he worked at McKinsey for almost 20 years, most recently as Director of the Center for Business and Environment. In 2006, Martin Stuchtey co-founded McKinsey’s Sustainability Practice, working with numerous corporate, government and social sector clients on the challenges of climate change, water scarcity, ocean degradation and resource depletion. Professor Stuchtey also initiated the 2030 Water Resources Group a consortium that promotes analytically based water-management techniques and supports water sector transformations in over 10 countries.
