Katarzyna Dulko-Gaszyna is Head of Sustainability at IKEA Germany. While her professional focus at IKEA is around circular shift towards low carbon economy and enabling sustainable consumption to consumers, sustainability also plays a major role in her personal life. After studying political science and environmental science, she also held the Chief Sustainability Officer role at Axel Springer in Poland, as well as at IKEA in Poland. Now, at IKEA, she is proving that it is possible to combine a cost-conscious and environmentally conscious culture. IKEA strives to try to have as positive an impact as possible on the environment by applying innovative thinking at every step, from the initial idea for a product to when the customer no longer has any use for it.
