Danyal Bayaz is a politician for the German party “Bündnis 90/Die Grünen” (Alliance 90/The Greens) and became a member of the Bundestag following the 2017 German federal election. After finishing his studies in politics and economics at the University of Hohenheim, he decided to also finish a doctorate’s degree on the topic of financial markets. He conducted research time at Cornell University and worked as a financial consultant at a global strategy consultancy (BCG).
Since 2005 Danyal Bayaz has been a member of the party and has served as part of its state board in Baden-Württemberg. Next to currently being a member of the Bundestag, he also serves as member of the Bundestag’s finance committee, as startup commissioner of his party and as manager of the financial advisory board.
